I don't even have the
words to express how much I loved this book! From the minute that
Payton crashes into Gabriel's world you just know that sparks are
going to fly and they aren't going to calm down anytime soon. Simply
put... together they are explosive.
The characters are so
well formed it is unreal, you can literally see them develop and grow
as you turn the pages! It has to be said that I took an immediate
liking to Gabriel, in my books ANY man that growls at you is a man
worth exploring, and WOW is Gabriel worth exploring... By the way
#GabrielIsLilys so don't get too attached ;) The friendship between
Payton, Kylie & Quinn is brilliant, I adore the banter between
them and to me these three embody the term best friends like no other
group I've come across.
I've never been big on
fairy tales so the synopsis really caught my attention, I was
instantly hooked on the idea of an anti-fairy tale. I loved the
story, it's hilariously funny and heartbreaking all at the same time
and above all it is amazingly written. Once Upon a Time sucked me in
and dragged me to another world, so completely that I lost hours
submerged in its pages. 'Stop looking for happily ever after and
start looking at once upon a time.' is a quote that we could all live
by! Thank you SK Hartley for sharing this AMAZING story with the
world!
